We recently visited Sovereign Metals’ (SVM) giant Kasiya rutile and graphite project in Malawi. Development of Kasiya would be transformational for both SVM and the nation. Beyond the immediate financial benefits, Malawi would become a strategic source of rutile and graphite critical minerals. Recent drilling results have underlined Kasiya’s potential to be a globally significant supplier of graphite to all flake size market segments. We are of the opinion that Kasiya’s graphite content may one day eclipse its rutile value.
