Key News Overnight:
The Dow and the S&P 500 indexes closed at record highs on Friday following a stronger-than-expected jobs report, while investors shrugged off concerns over the Delta variant impacting a nascent economic recovery. The Dow Jones Industrial Average on Friday rose 144 points, or 0.4%, to 35,209, the S&P 500 gained 7 points, or 0.2%, to 4,437 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 59 points, or 0.4%, to 14,836.
