Michael has been working in the financial markets in various roles for almost 20 years. During this time Michael has worked as a portfolio manager for South Africa’s largest alternative investment manager and as an investment analyst for Investec Asset Management. In 2011 he joined Bell Potter in Perth as a resource analyst after several years of working primarily in the mining industry. More recently, Michael held the position of Director – Research at DJ Carmichael where he was responsible for covering resources and technology stocks. He has an MBA in Finance and M.Sc in Mineral and Energy Economics. Michael provides research coverage predominantly in the oil and gas and technology sectors.
