The stockbroking firm will join Multiplex and EY in Brookfield’s Nine The Esplanade.
Argonaut is set to take up an entire floor of Brookfield’s newest building in Elizabeth Quay, once it’s complete in 2025.
The stockbroking firm today announced the move, indicating to its close to 60 staff it would move out of its current Perth office in Allendale Square.
Brookfield’s Nine the Esplanade, on Lot 6 in Elizabeth Quay, is due for completion in 2025.
The 19-storey office tower, with 1,870 square metre floor plates, is set to house Multiplex and EY, and is being developed in a joint venture with Cbus Property.
Brookfield senior vice president, property and development Nick Ozich said tenants were drawn to the asset for its amenity and to the emerging Elizabeth Quay precinct.
“We’re seeing tenants gravitate to premium buildings like Nine The Esplanade because they provide their staff with a healthy workplace through quality design, work place innovation and outstanding on-site amenities,” he said.
“The redrawing of the city grid to the Elizabeth Quay precinct on the Swan Riverfront is also proving to be a key attractor.”
Argonaut group managing director Greg Southee said the move would complement the firm’s growth plans.
“We are excited to be moving our growing firm into a single floor of a new, state-of-the-art building on the waterfront at Elizabeth Quay,” he said.
“These premium facilities will allow us to significantly enhance both client and staff function and amenity.”
The move is expected to occur in 2025.
