Graduate Program

Designed for recent graduates eager to gain in-depth exposure to investment banking, stockbroking, and research.

We look for candidates who are analytical, commercially minded, and passionate about financial markets.

As a graduate at Argonaut, you will –

  • Work within our key business divisions, including advisory & corporate finance, stockbroking, and research.
  • Develop financial modelling skills, valuation analysis, market research, and client presentations.
  • Gain practical experience with live transactions and investment strategies.
  • Be mentored by experienced professionals and develop key industry relationships.

Applications for graduate positions are open year-round, with a deadline of 15 April for the following year’s intake. Shortlisted applicants are interviewed in May/June, with successful candidates commencing between December to February.

Internship Program

Offers high-achieving students an opportunity to gain meaningful work experience in financial services.

Interns are immersed in real projects, working alongside seasoned professionals, and gain firsthand exposure to market-leading deals.

As an intern at Argonaut, you will –

  • Support financial modelling, research, and transaction execution across different teams.
  • Engage in live deals and investment analysis.
  • Develop practical skills and expand your industry network.
  • Receive structured guidance and mentorship.

When reviewing applications, we look for –

  • Penultimate-year student with a strong academic record
  • Well-rounded, motivated, and detail-oriented
  • Genuine interest in financial markets, with strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Holds the right to work in Australia

Our internship opportunities are based in our Perth office.

We accept internship applications year-round, with a closing date of 31 August for the upcoming summer (Dec–Feb) and winter (June–July) programs. Interviews for shortlisted applicants take place in September/October.
