Argonaut acted as Financial Advisor to the Takeover of Finders Resources by Eastern Field Developments Limited (EFDL), a special purpose vehicle jointly owned by Procap Partners Limited, PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya Tbk and PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk to acquire shares in Finders Resources, a low-cost copper producing company with an open-pit mining and processing plant of high-grade sulphide deposits in Indonesia. The Takeover proceedings started in 2017 and ended in a Compulsory Acquisition in 2019. The Takeover process revolved around EFDL acquiring the 11% share of Taurus Funds Management Pty Ltd in Finders Resources or making an offer to buy out all shares of Finders Resources.
