Sovereign Metals’ (SVM) studies and tests continue to generate positive results. Recent thermal tests have proven Kasiya’s graphite is suitable for use in the traditional refractory sector. Practical mining field trials indicate Kasiya could be mined using either traditional free-dig or hydraulic mining styles. Anode tests on coated spherical graphite derived from Kasiya generated high cycle efficiencies indicating suitability for battery usage. With Rio Tinto (Not Covered/No Rating) now at a 19.9% shareholding, it seems it will be only a matter of time before the mining behemoth actions a takeover of SVM.
