Key News Overnight:
Spot gold was up 1.4% at US$1,902/oz. U.S. gold futures settled mostly unchanged at US$1,906/oz.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 650 points, or 2.3%, to 27,685. The S&P 500 lost 64 points, or 1.9%, to 3,401 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 189 points, or 1.6%, to 11,359.
