Key News Overnight:
US stocks tumbled in a broad sell-off with some market watchers pointing to rising virus cases.
The Dow was 6.9% lower; the S&P 500 was down 5.9% and the Nasdaq fell 5.3%.
European shares suffered their worst day in more than 11 weeks and Asia indices were also down.
Industrial metals fell the most in seven weeks, retreating from a three-month high.
